So many novels on engineering students by engineering students, not a single one revolving around our lives- the Chartered Accountancy students. Here comes one- my first own novel!
To release my book online is like a dream come true:a dream that I’ve grown up with! Everyone grows up with a dream- playing guitar, writing a book, singing, dancing, playing basket-ball.We should all have one hobby, besides our core career field:one hobby that would rejuvenate us after a hectic schedule. I don’t want to turn 55 with a regret. Besides complaining of back-ache problems and hypermetropic eyes, I don’t want to say this to my grandchildren: “Beta, I always wanted to write a book but could never take out time!” Waqt toh kabhi bhi nahi milega ; waqt nikaalna padega!
I always used to think that I’ll write a book kabhi. But one fine day my heart questioned, “Why kabhi? Why not abhi?”
When people say, “I’ll do it one of these days”, you can be sure it means none of these days. Isn’t it time we put off putting things off? Make a habit of “ Do it now”. Stop procrastinating.
He slept beneath the moon
He basked beneath the sun
He lived a life of going to do
And died with nothing done.
Cut on the long phone gossips, avoid saas-bahu soaps, stop whiling your time day-dreaming and the 24 hrs would suffice. Set aside an hour daily out of your time-table for something you love doing, something you are passionate about- gardening, reading novel, cooking, anything your heart craves for. The idea is : DON’T LET YOUR DREAMS DIE!! Make them come true before you die!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream . Discover.” – Mark Twain
